why the path of Graphic Design?
What inspired me to become a graphic design major is entirely accidental. I originally intended to major in architecture in high school, but my first choice college turned me down so I decided to attend the next closest college to me, which was Northridge. Since Northridge didn't have architecture programs, or atleast none that I know of, I made my pick on Graphic Design. During my first two years as a graphic design major, I was doubting my abilities and felt this was not the profession for me. Not wanting to be in this state of mind, I decided to look at graphic design blogs, inspiration, and tutorials in hopes that it would spark an interest. After realizing that there were many professions within this particular profession, and viewing all the creativity seen in the inspirational designs, I thought to myself..."I want to be a Graphic Designer."
