I have made a great deal of changes to my infographic and had put a little more thought into it...This time around, the poster isn't being overly busy with illustrations of little men and women filling every corner. I tried to use the topic and the usage of the variety of charts along with it.
Considerably better than before, and I definitely see where you're going with this. The text in the sun bursts appear to be at different lengths sentence wise, so maybe next time around, you could justify left the type or something. Nice edition to include the picnic blanket as a background, but I'm starting to question the palette and template with all the other colors. You may be able to do without the sunburst in the lower left, and somehow include "Looks like they're making good business" elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteThis is a drastic improvement from your first draft. This is much more graphic and I like it a lot better! The information is much more clear than it was the first time around, which I believe was the biggest problem. I like that you even made the background the picnic table texture, whether or not that was intentional.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure about the spiky meatball up there though...ha!
better. the burst are very basic and cheapen the design. can you perhaps render it more 3d or integrated into the design. they feel very "placed". The use of myriad as the typeface makes it feel like the type hasnt been well thought out. flush left in the bursts is poor type layout as well. Try centering so you can contour the circle shapes. red type on yellow not very legible either.
ReplyDeletei can't get too detailed as the image is too small. its an improvement, but without seeing the details i can not give you a solid critique of the content.
ok, I'll be sure to take a look at all of the above and make more changes...thank you for the suggestions.
ReplyDeleteA lot better than the original, I love the little cups! and how you integrated the straw as about of the graph...The graphics however seem sort of small and the logos of the restaurants seem blurry. I'm not sure what the purpose is of the starburst captions, maybe use word bubbles (not sure if that's the right terminology).
